Alex Moulton: life and legacy

Alex Moulton: life and legacy

This month's Preservation Trust/Museum lecture takes place on Thursday 11 June, when Dan Farrell – technical lead at the Moulton Bicycle Company, and historian of the Moulton family and the rubber industry in Bradford – will talk about ‘Alex Moulton, engineer, his achievements and legacy’. Dan is a terrific speaker, so we can look forward to a lively and informative evening.

The lecture is at the United Church in St Margaret's Street. Doors open at 7pm for coffee and tea (and biscuits) before a 7.30pm start. Tickets (£8 for Trust and Museum members, £10 for non-members) are available on the door and (cash only, please) at Ex Libris bookshop in The Shambles.

The lecture series continues through the summer: the next talk, on 9 July, will be Alan Soldat on ‘The mystery of the Wansdyke’.

The talks take place on the second Thursday of the month, at the United church in St Margaret's Street.
